From 1830-1869, Ovansjö Gästrikland
One of 8 red-bottomed fabric pieces. Från Gammelgården, Storvik. Tyget är kollat mot originalet och är något mindre mättat än originalet, mer rödbrun än mörkrött.
The fabric is part of a collection of clothing items from Gammelgården in Storviksbacken in Storvik, Ovansjö. The items of clothing were found in the attic upstairs in the said house in the early 1990s, in connection with the demolition of the house. Parts of the farm are from the 17th century and the textiles are from the entire 19th century. In the house lived the tailor Anders Andersson-Wikblom and his wife Anna Zakrisdotter, called Hat-Anna, who are probably the ones who used the clothes.
