A tailored purple wool winter coat with green viscose lining with a fantasy feel. The coat has large pockets and a hidden zipper, as well as beautiful metal buckles. The hooded cape is removable and can be used by itself.

UNDER THE JACKET OF THE HABIT
Shirt and vest for an 18th century riding costume. The shirt is hand-sewn from cotton and the waistcoat is made from impregnated calfskin and cotton lining, completely hand-sewn as well. The buttons are embroidered on a Brother Innovis m280d machine.

EQUESTRIAN COSTUME 18TH CENTURY
A riding suit in impregnated calfskin, partly hand-sewn. The riding suit consists of an 18th-century jacket, a matching vest, KOMUDESIGNS full-circle riding & walking skirt and a cotton shirt. The buttons on the jacket and vest are embroidered on a Brother Innovis m280d machine.

BLACK Petticoat
A deep black petticoat for a Robe a la Francaise, completely hand-stitched with decorative frills and ruffles on the front. Sewn with black silk thread and decorated with pink ribbon.

ROBE A LA FRANCAISE
A so-called Robe a la Francaise, also known as a 'sack back gown'. Each piece is hand-stitched with linen thread or silk thread. This robe a la francaise consists of a green-toned, silver overdress with pretty decoration (the top is lined with cotton, boned and with laces at the back. The eyelets are of course hand-made from silk thread!), a deep black duchesse satin petticoat, an embroidered stomacher by hand with silk thread and glass beads, as well as a pair of handmade 'engageantes', i.e. cuffs made of voile (cotton mix) with hand-stitched silk thread embroidery. These are fastened inside the dress with hand-tied silk buttons.

A yellow, floral Robe a l'anglaise, worn a la retroussée. The dress and matching petticoat are largely machine sewn while the stomacher is hand embroidered.

Stomacher with pattern from the V&A Museum archive, from Kunst-und Fleiss-übende Nadel-Ergötzungen oder neu-erfundenes Neh- und Stick-Buch by Helm, Margaretha (published c. 1725). Completely hand-stitched with black silk thread and black/grey glass beads on a yellow linen fabric. Boned with German Synthetic Whalebone.
